basswoodbend: Thanks to Just Us for filing the DNF for the cache. I went out today to check on it. The first stage is irretrievable. It has been shoved deep into the hole and frozen in place. It will require a tool to retrieve it. I am removing the other stages. We will try to place a new multi there in the spring.

A four stage multi cache
A four stage multi cacheThis cache was created to give my daughter a chance to experiment with her new Christmas present and experience different cache types. It is a four stage multi cache in a seldom used portion of the Brown Bridge Quiet Area. I have copied what I have learned from others to provide the experience of a variety of hides in a wooded area. Each stage presents a different type of container: an aspirin bottle, a film canister, a VERY small Altoid tin and a 2 quart thermos jug in that order. The locations are of different difficulty from obvious to well hidden.Parking is available off Hobbs Highway at N44 39.394, W085 29.914. The trail is the section line marking the northern boundary of the Quiet Area. I have seen evidence of vehicular traffic on it but I'm not sure it's legal and I wouldn't recommend it. All other trails entering into the area are blocked off. From Hobbs Highway to all four caches and back to your car you will travel just about one mile up and down two hills. All containers are within 100 feet of a trail.The contents include a log book and a collection of trinkets. Note: April 1 2004 the original damaged container and log book were replaced and the cache was restocked.
