This cache commemorates the efforts of those using former railroad beds as trails.
This cache (a waterproof screw-top Rubbermaid container) was placed after careful placement choices were reviewed for signal reception and relatively easy access during all seasons. The original cache was packed with lots of good swag, including a log book, pencil, sharpener and pen (please leave these with the cache), mini-slinky, geocaching.com compass, stickers, Smokey the Bear bookmarks, rubberband frogs, piglets, poppers, 30-sided die and other goodies donated by nieces and nephews.
