Plumpton rocks is an Ice age glacial deposit of rocks and boulders, some the size of a house.
In the centre is a man made lake constructed in the time of William de Plumpton (Circa 1587)
The hidden boathouse being added and the dam rebuilt in the mid 18th century by John Carr and
has remained much the same to this day
For an entrance fee the Rocks are open March-October Saturdays/Sundays and public holidays £2-00 and £1-00 for children + OAP's
The cache is not in the private section of Plumpton rocks but on a Public bridleway which runs through part of the site.
The cache can be approached from 3 different directions all on Public bridleway.
Cache is contained in a 2 litre Tupperware type container.
