Geocache Description:

Take Turner Rd. off Rt. 85 to get you close to the cache. Parking for the shorter hike (~0.5 mi) is at the entrance gate on Ridge Hill Rd. For a tougher, but more scenic hike, park at the green gate on Turner Rd. at N41°25.205' W072°11.017'

Morgan Cheney Nature Preserve is a wonderful, unspoiled forest, with rough paths and beautiful natural scenery. There are amazing trees formed in the most bizarre shapes, so keep a look out as you walk along the stone walls and rock piles. You'll have to bushwack the last 200 feet or so to get to the cache, which is a pretty well-hidden ammo box filled with the usual goodies. On your way out of the woods, make sure to check out the views of the lake below, whether from your car or by bushwacking up to the ridge - it's gorgeous at sunset! One word of note: the red path can be hard to follow at times, while the blue circles were pretty easy to follow.
