Geocache Description:

This is a theme cache exclusive to fridge magnets!
TNLN-SL is OK if you came without a magnet. Rated about R8, There are a lot of steps.

Is your fridge magnet sick of having those same tired, haggard, grumpy and stressed out faces that appear in front of them every morning? AAARRRGGGHH! Imagine yourself in their place.

Fridge magnets have been around for a while - everyone knows what a fridge magnet is.
But did you know?...........
? 90% of fridges have magnets on them
? A fridge magnet has a life span of 5-10 years
? An average fridge in the home gets opened 37 times a day.

Well give them a break, send them on holiday to a quiet scenic retreat away from the constant door banging, draughty, to and fro, scene they have been enduring for? Months? Years even?

Let them meet new friends and enjoy peace and quiet away from that hectic lifestyle you have forced them to endure. Drop your magnet off at The Cling-ons' Café Cache!

The khaki and black painted Café is housed in a engineer designed cylindrical structure of 200 mm x 150 mm hidden away in a scenic bush setting easily accessible to pedestrians along a well formed and maintained track.

It is an oasis of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the usual re-fridgerator door yet is so close to the city that you can easily pay a visit to keep in touch. Arrange to visit on the next fine day and your magnet will love you for your kindness and thoughtfulness

Accommodation is provided free of charge but the management does reserve the right to remove residents on a first in, first out, basis if overcrowding occurs in future.

Park at: S 36 48.509 E 174 42.161. I recommend you approach in a clockwise manner and walk the loop. The anticlockwise approach is the more direct but if you do not complete the loop you miss the best of the bush. Allow 30minutes to walk the loop.
There is a fairly heavy tree canopy so a fine day would be best. GPS availability is marginal on sections of the track but reasonable at the cache site.
Note: 15/3/04 difficulty rating upped to 2.5 .
