An extension of the famous Long Leaf Trace has been built to the lake, this new pathway passes very close to the cache. The park and lake have officially reopened.
Fairly easy cache located at a state park with a good lake.
This cache is a ammo box located in the woods that surround the lake. The lake is part of the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and the grounds offer Concessions, restrooms, boat ramp, picnic tables, nature trail, camping with electrical/water hookups, rental boats. Several folks fishing while we were there. Its a short walk to the cache. It contains many goodies and a log book. Enjoy.
