Located in the future Community Waterfront Park (aka. the old log dump). Just a short hike up a bit of steep terrain. Please keep to the trails. You will notice warning signs on your hike. The ground may be unstable in some areas due to abandoned mines.
This is my daughter's first cache that she has placed by herself. She is working on a girl scout badge and decided to theme this cache after Girl Scouts. Please try to stick to items that would be appropriate for a Girl or Boy Scout. Current items in the cache include: window catchers, crayons, glue, pencils, red pens, pocket knife, patches (ones she traded for at the Peace Arch last summer), tea lights, Off Botanicals insect repellent, and glow in the dark stars.
While at the park, you may want to visit the mouth of Chimacum Creek or walk on the beach and collect shells. This is will be a nice community park and offers nice views of Indian Island, Kala Point, Port Hadlock, and Port Townsend. We hope you enjoy it.
