This cache is in honor of our "geocaching buddies" Juanbob, Sparky and "Mike the Bunny".
South Mountain Preserve is a nature preserve operated by the Wildlands Conservancy. Consisting of 283 acres of ponds and vernal pools, woods and trails, it is located at the end of Alpine Street in Emmaus, PA. This two part multi-cache is a little over a mile long, taking the trails through wetlands, passing a quarry, over a small creek and up the mountain. Please stay on the trails as some pass very close to private property. This is not recommended to do in ice or snow. The above coordinates are for the first cache. Parking is at N40º 32.878 W75º 28.997 and the trailhead begins there. Have Fun and enjoy the hike up South Mountain. PLEASE rehide the final cache well as this is a popular place. And put the cap back on tightly for the first part.
