This cache is family friendly and easy to find. It is near the old Laredo Historical Museum and overlooks a lake.
Since I don't live in Laredo I have a co-sponsor (family member) who is new to geocaching and also lives in Laredo. I will visit a couple of times during the year but MacMark will maintain the site. If anyone else who is an active Laredo geocacher is interesting in co-sponsoring this site please contact me.
This is an easy to get to cache however, there is a $3 entrance fee. The container is a plastic pencil box that was replaced 12-28-07.
Please be sure to re-hide the cache as best you can, it could be discovered easily by passers-by if not rehidden completely.
