This cache is laid in the picturesque Fen Drayton Nature Reserve. There are information boards at various points around the reserve to help you identify the large variety of birds and other wild life which live there.
From the A14 take the minor road between Fen Drayton and Swavesy. Enter the nature reserve at N52°17.615 W000°01.103.
This is a local nature reserve with public footpaths, bridle paths and is a very well used spot for walkers, bird watchers, runners etc. Beware of speed bumps (not marked) and pot holes on the concrete road. After about half a mile, cross the bailey bridge, turn left and look for the parking signs within approximately half a mile(N52.546 W000°01.928).
Walkers beware of a bit of mud in damp weather. Take your binoculars if you are interested in birds.
From the car park follow the concrete road going west into the Nature Reserve. After finding the cache continue on the route, which will eventually return you to the car park. The walk should take approximately one hour if you do the round trip.
( March 2008. Recent heavy machinery have made a real mess of this area so you will need wellingtons for the mud if it has been raining.)
