This cache was placed in 2003 by Sailboatboy and adopted in January 2006 by the Wandering Bears. As the cache is in a slightly different location, previous finders are welcome to visit again. This is an easy cache, great for beginners or just a leisurely stroll. It is handicap accessible to within 30 feet of the cache. The cache is located just yards off the Allegheny Power Cheat Lake Trail.
This is a very easy cache, accessible by car or boat. It is located less than ten yards off the Cheat Lake trail. To get to the park, travel 2.1 miles north of I-68 on CR 857 and take a left on CR 7/1, "Morgan Run Road". Travel 1.6 miles to the parking coordinates.
Parking is located at N39°42.612' W79°50.489'
Handicap Parking is located at N39°42.598' W79°50.602'
The cache is located about 1/3 mile from the parking coordinates, approximately 30 feet off the trail south of the parking area, just past the fish cleaning station and restrooms.
In January, 2006 the original cache container was replaced with a .50 cal ammunition can. If you can't find the cache, the hint describes the exact location of the geocache.
Since this trail has a lot of traffic, and the cache has a history of being Muggled, please rehide at least as well as you found it.
