Come to Charlottesville's Downtown Mall & snap some pix
This past year I had a lot of fun doing some of the web-cam caches here on the East Coast. My 1st was in Times Square and most recent right here in Virginia. Most of these are fairly straight forward...you go to a certain spot where there is a web cam, call a friend using a cell phone, and wave while shouting "Can you see me now"? I've rated this cache a 2.5 on difficulty because I know what a problem it can be to get someone to man a computer and take the required web cam shot of you. There is also the enevitable web cam down time to take into account so I've left some leeway for those that experience some technical diffaculties during the picture taking process. Basicly what I need is a picture of you standing there at the posted coodinates. I would prefer a shot using the web cam listed for the posted website. However I know from personaly doing a few of these that "user error" and other factors can make this very difficult. So, I will accept a regular shot from a digicam of you at the posted coords if your use of the webcam does not pan out.
