Geocache Description:

This is one of three towniship parks here in Robinson. I tried to make this as family friendly as possible. There is a easy walk to the cache and then there is a great playground for the kids after the hunt


Lil Guy loves this park because of all the fun things there are to do here for a 2 year old as well as bigger kids. There is an awesome playground as well as basketball, tennis and volleyball courts and a real nice swimming pool with a baby pool for small ones like the Lil Guy. The cache is located in the woods behind the Bicentennial Shelter. The short walk up to the shelter from the parking lot should be the hardest part. You will find an old gas line trail behind the shelter and horse shoe pits. Follow the path to the treasure not far off the trail. There is some debris along the trail from picnics past. Bring a bag and help clean up the woods. If the shelter is busy with a picnic, then you might want to go down behind the volleyball court. There is a path into the wood there as well. Going this route will make the terrain a (***). You will have to bushwack up the hill to the gas line trail. This cache is a mid size Rubbermaid container loaded with lots of trinkets for kids. There are frisbees, puzzles, dice, bubbles, play dough and more. Cache is well hidden from the little muggles that may walk the path. Please hide it well so it’s out of sight of all the muggles. For more close by fun try Beanbags & Baseballs Cache. It is only just over a mile and a half down the same road. Have Fun!!!
