Park at Camp Oakdale (off Meetinghouse Lane) and walk across the basketball courts to the Recreational Trails. Cache is about 1/2 mile walk from the parking area.
Camp Oakdale is a great recreational park, with baseball, football, and soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, and even a playground for the little ones! There's a nice ~1/2 mile hiking trail loop, with exercise stations along the way. The cache is an ammo box placed not far off the main trail. Bring a ball, enjoy the walk, and don't forget to stretch!
This cache was put out in honor of one of our little Cadea's birthdays. Everything about this cache has some significance to our family about this special day: the placement date, the town it's in, the FTF prize, and all of the original items (Lion King toy, Tinkerbell pin, an ABC puzzle, theater keychain, AZ Mystery book, soccer ball, small bible, orange Ellis Island bear and more). Feel free to sign the birthday book as well as the log, and have fun trading!
