Avionic Pleasure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team MeD: Checked on the cache while walking in the park... and it was gone! Muggled? We considered replacing it, but there is a well-defined trail leading to the cache, and the vegetation in the area has been trampled down so much that the hiding place is entirely visible now. (Besides, it would be more fun to place a new cache at a different spot along the frisbee golf course; the 'holes' have such interesting names!)

Geocache Description:

Once again, we thought it would be nice to start the New Year out by placing a cache in Dolese Park. Dolese Park is the site of a good frisbee golf course, and this cache is named for its sixth hole. It has been placed only 35-40 feet southeast of the 'Avionic Pleasure' marker, so you will undoubtably stumble across the marker first.

The container is a small (4-inch square) plastic container, painted in camoflage colors. Its original contents include: U.T.O. travel bug, Hot Wheels UFO, two military patches, mini Coca Cola polar bear in plane, Micro Machines air mail plane, plastic bat (mammal kind), glow-in-dark dragonfly, and assorted small plastic spacecraft.
