The cache is located in a wooded area at the rear of McDonald Commons, a park accessible from Dawson Road.
This is The Mudlegs first hide, with able assistance from brother (literally) cacher, the CT Crankees. The cache name is derived from the cache container.
The cache is located in a wooded area at the rear of McDonald Commons, a park accessible from Dawson Road. Parking is located at N 39 11.067 W 084 22.120.
Be wary of the no trespassing sign in the general area of the cache. If you park at McDonald Commons, you won’t have any problem.
The bridge and trail can be slick after it rains, so watch your step.
This looks to be an area frequented by kids, so please rehide the cache as best you can. Also, please make sure the cache lid is screwed on tight. Consider taking a small bag with you to pack out some trash.
