Geocache Description:

Coordinates will take you to the parking lot of Fatso's Sports Bar on Bandera Rd.

We WILL have a team this year, attending the Texas 2004 Geocaching Challenge in Huntsville State Park the weekend of March 13.
9Key has advised me that the other regional teams ( Austin, Houston, Dallas, etc) will probably have at least 30 members, not counting their kids.
This means that if we can't come up with at least 30 people from San Antonio, we can combine forces with other cachers from nearby areas such as Waco, Boerne, Fredericksburg, etc.
Those of you in the surrounding areas of San Antonio, please come and join us.
The purpose of this meeting is to firm up who will be attending, lodging information, stategies for playing, and drinking beer.
I will try to get someone who attended the 2003 Challenge to be present to explain how the game was played last year.
If anyone can think of strategies to offer up, please bring your suggestions to the table.
There will be a strategy meeting going on in Houston shortly, and it sounds like they are preparing for World War III.
I admit I don't even know how to go about planning for this event, so if anyone can help, please attend.
The TXGA forums are full of chatter with other members in the state about this upcoming event.
There is even a thread for talking trash to other teams in the state, so this sounds pretty serious.
Since this will be our first time out, I will expect that we will learn alot and be really ready for the 2005 Challenge.
Anyway, it should prove to be loads of fun, so come on out and help us brainstorm about how to make a good showing here. We don't want to end up in last place, at least.
Meeting will be Saturday, Jan 24 at 1:00.
Fatso's offers food, beer, big screen TV's, but no smoking.
