This is a log-only cache with just a pen and a log book; consider this a warm-up for Journey to Domelands cache. You're looking for a large micro, or a small regular container painted to match the surroundings. Cache is located atop one of the "domes", between some tan colored boulders and under a few rocks. I suggest looking at the spoiler pic, you don't want to get out there and not find it!
Getting to the cache requires some very minor rock climbing skills, no equipment is required (its easier than I make it out to be). Also, be sure to check out the cave/alcove on the NE side of the dome, a great place to rest and enjoy the view.
And...its about 2 miles of bumpy road from the S2 to parking/trailhead. A high clearance car/truck/suv would be best, but I saw a VW van at the parking coords, so just about anything will get you there. Below are some waypoints to help you along; however, the trail is well-beaten. Have fun!
