As the air here is coming straight off thousands of miles of Pacific Ocean, scientists refer to it as the cleanest air on the planet. A down-home drive through some beautiful terrain that contrasts sharply with the lava flow where you'll find this cache.
***NOTE: There was a minor discrepancy in the coordinates that, as of April 15, have been modified. You can drive to a parking area by a lighthouse and hike a 1/2 mile or so to the cache, or if you have 4WD you can get right to it. If you 4WD, after finding the cache, keep heading down the trail for some beautiful vistas of the ocean. The cache is in a clear plastic container with a white lid. It contains a logbook, windchimes (appropriate for this area) and incense. As there have been people who could not find the cache it would be a good idea to read the spoiler.
