I-380 Lakeside Bug Resort Traditional Cache
Barthonis: I have decided that since someone has decided to target my caches for whatever reason, that I will not be replacing the missing caches. So whoever is doing this, congratulations....you've won. I'll not keep supplying you with camo painted ammo-cans and tupperware. You'll have to find another supplier. [:(!]

This cache is on public land near a "lake" that was created when the Elk Run interchange was built for interstate I-380. This cache loves to host travel bugs, and travel bugs love to spend a few days here fishing, camping, and just plain old relaxing near the lake! [:)]
Both UncleMike03 and I learned to fish here in this very small man-made "lake". This cache should be a quick 5-10 minute round trip afair. During the summer months though, you may need to be a bit discrete, as there are usually a few kids and the occasional adult fishing here.
Parking will be your biggest problem, as there are "No Parking" signs posted on both sides of this access/interchange street all the way around the curve. However, once you get past the curve in the road, there are no more "No Parking" signs. And on numerous occasions I have parked on the "straight" section of this road to the west of the curve and never had any problems with the police. Also the walk down is a bit steep at first, but should be no problem if you are careful.
This cache loves to host travel bugs!!!! It was the main reason we hid it out here so close to the Interstate. So please feel free to drop off or pick up a travel bug in this cache and help them on their way!!!!
Please be extra careful when replacing this cache, as alot of younger kids do frequent this area, and if not carefully camoflagued, this cache may come up missing or looted.
3/22/05 Any "found it" logs without a logbook signature will be deleted. I do monitor my caches.
