Final cache is ammo can stocked with all new items
**UPDATE** The approach to Stage 6 is now water. Knee boots are recommended, unless you like soggy feet. I have upgraded the difficulty to a 5 star for this reason. Once it freezes you should be fine. Water is not more than knee deep.
SORRY, NO DOGS ALLOWED!!
Please latch gate when entering and when leaving.
PLEASE CACHE IN / TRASH OUT (usually very clean but if you find any litter, please remove). Beware of baby trees (wild ones, but if undisturbed will mature). Bringing binoculars may add an unexpected bonus.
This one has it all; thorns, stickers, burrs, poison stuff (Ivy, Oak), plenty of bugs in warm weather, mud, critters and not much for a trail. If you like deer trails, then this one's for you. A beautiful area, I have watched and enjoyed for nearly 20 years. Please be discreet and use caution when at final cache site, so as not to give it away. Hide the cache better than you found it but do not move it from this exact location.
Coordinates at top are for a small parking area (maybe 6-8 vehicles). This is the only entrance. Once there you will locate the second set of coordinates in a likely place.
Please do not post coordinates or spoilers in your log. If you find something you have questions on, email me through my profile. If you find it difficult, that's the way it's supposed to be. If you think the difficulty or terrain ratings are inaccurate, please let me know.
Have fun and enjoy. Remember, no dogs allowed, sorry. Please remember to latch the gate behind you.
Wildlife in the area include; Deer, Turkey, Pheasant, numerous species of other birds, Raccoon, Opossum, Skunk. Squirrel, Coyote, and lots of other little furry things. There are also some amazingly large trees.
Winter note: If there has been a lot of snow, the parking lot may be a little difficult to get into. If you think you might get your vehicle stuck, you probably will. Please make lots of tracks in the snow when searching (I’m sure you will anyway) to minimize hazard of muggles.
Night note: For an added level of challenge, try this one on a clear and moonlit night, but use the utmost stealth. The area is bordered directly on one side by a small housing development. Add a star to both D/T if completely done at night. A difficult task indeed. Be sure to look 20 to 40 feet up in the trees for roosting turkeys.
