Geocache Description:

From State Route 160, go northeast on Carpenter Canyon for a little more than a mile. It is a good gravel road most of the way. Park where the road meets the rusty single pole transmission line.

If you continue east on this road you will reach Carpenter Canyon on the west side of Charleston Peak. This is a beautiful area with an uncluttered view of the snow-capped mountains. The cache is in a 2 quart clear plastic container with a white screw-top lid. In it I placed some cool new things for kids or grownups and I hope everyone will trade fairly. The cache is well hidden in a place where critters love to hide. Watch where you put your hands... you could pull out one of the Mojave desert BLACK HARRY SCORPIONS or any number of critters!
