Rocks & Ladders Traditional Cache

This was an excitting cache for us to do because we love to hike the Painted Canyon as often as possible. After reading that the Heart cache was MIA we decided to check for our self. Having done the Heart cache we can say for certain that it is gone. Sorry! So why not put out a cache of our own. Rocks & Ladders is an easy hike up the canyon and will only require you to climb three ladders, in the upper part of the canyon. For those of you who have done the Heart cache, you will find that ours is .13mi farther up the canyon (as the crow flys). Actual walking distance is a bit farther because of all the switch backs. Take the time to enjoy this area and if you have about three hours, take the loop trail.
