There and back again at Pen Park to a minty Altoid tin cache with an opportunity to dodge golf balls and an obligation to do exercises that signs tell you to do.
Short jaunt at Pen Park from the picnic shelters. On the trail, you will find some remnants of a distant past, when superflexible beings would jog around a trail, stop at numbered stations, and actually stretch their arms and legs across rusty rails and splintery logs. Save the exercises for the return leg. You can't go a'caching from the emergency room. Oh. You'll also encounter golfers uttering some "R" or worse-rated language as they slice or hook their golf balls into the woods. Bonus points if you find a ball!
The cache is an Altoids tin (it keeps the contents minty fresh!). It contains an official Geocaching pin and other miniature trinkets.
Warning! Please turn left before the tennis courts and use the parking lot below the ballfield and next to the picnic shelters. Stick to the well-marked trail that begins between the picnic shelters. Please don't take any perceived shortcut across the golf course at any time. Golf balls hurt and so do angry golf course pros!
