This multi-stage cache is near a nice little park in the community of Harbor Grove called Harbor Lane Park. It is in the town of Hickory Creek. This cache was placed with USACE approval.
Update (12/31/04): The starting point for this cache has been changed, as has the name. This cache was formerly known as Harbor Lane Park Cache. The best parking will be in Sycamore Bend Park, by the gate (locked in the winter). There is an ATV trail that starts near my other cache, carya illinoinensis, that leads to the cache. You will have to cross several creeks to get to stage 1. If the lake comes up any more, you will have to go further up the creeks to get around. There is no real bushwhacking till you approach the final, and the brush is not too bad.
Also, the original cache container has changed from the PVC pod to a 7.62mm ammo box with a new log book and some new goodies. Have fun.
