Got the winter blahs? Itching to get out geocaching, but the cold weather has been keeping you indoors? Or maybe you just got a GPS for Christmas and are wondering how to use it. Why not come out and join us at Mendon Ponds Park on Sunday January 25, 2004.
The New York Geocaching Organization (NYGO) will be hosting an information table in the East Lodge from 11:00AM to 4:00PM.
Mendon Ponds Park is a great county park. It is a National Natural Historic Landmark because of all the glacial formations.
There are several geocaches already hidden in the park. We will place a few temporary caches near the lodge and run some demonstrations for anyone that is interested in trying it out.
If your into Geocaching or just want to know what it's all about, come on out and meet some local cachers and get a chance to have all your questions answered.
