Somewhat off the beaten path, this vantage point offers outstanding views of Reno and the Sierra Nevada mountains to the west. You will need a high clearance 4X4 truck, ATV or dirt bike (motorcycle) to get to this spot, but definitely worth it for the views. There is an eagle's nest on the cliff just to the north of you (look for the white bird droppings). Cache is in a small cylinder painted black, containing log only. BRING A PEN OR PENCIL OF YOUR OWN! Take lunch and enjoy the great outdoors!
