Working hard made this country great, and just a few short miles from here is Shasta Dam, one of the biggest work projects at the end of the Depression. Take a break... This cache is especially for people on vacation.
The cache is an easy on and off the freeway location, with typical services adjacent. So stop and stretch, bag an easy find, and maybe snap a photo or two. In Spring of 2010 we replaced a muggled cache with a small plastic case, no room for a pencil, so you better bring one. Please be discrete. Bumped up the difficulty level in 2006 based on feedback and changes in the location since we hid it.
We averaged several readings, and one test was as much as 26 feet off. If you put your nose to it you'll find it.
