Geocache Description:

Here's another reason to climb Mount Baldy. If you choose your path wisely, there will be few fallen trees in your way. The path I opted for was aprox. 1.8 miles from the trailhead. Your elevation gain will be about 450 feet.

Welcome to Mount Baldy's Griffin Russell trail system! This trail system is used mostly by horseback riders but I like to explore it on foot. It's a great trail for mountain bikes, too. This trail is a lot less steep than the Pete (Peak) trail, (the hill next door.) You'll find parking at N 47°11.138 W 121°55.647 This cache is a small ammo can. No clue is necessary. Enjoy your hike!
