LOCATED ON THE SANDHILLS GAMELANDS NEAR HOFFMAN, N.C.
During the dark days of WW2, a navigation error resulted in the deaths of a number of Airborne troops on a night jump while training to assault Fortress Europe. The coords above lead you to a monument to these brave young men. At the monument you'll need to gather a little info to find the cache. The final cache is at latitude: N34 59.---. To fill in the blanks, add 175 to the unit the men belonged to. The longitude is: W079 32.---. To fill in the blanks, subtract 1296 from the year the men jumped to their deaths. Once you've done the math, the cache is only a short hike away.
