Geocache Description:

Located near the Vancouver airport, this bug house will hopefully help expidite bugs travelling in and out of the lower mainland. This is a travel bug house so the cache is intended for travel bugs, or other travelling items (like geocoins or whatever), so please don't take travel bugs unless there are more than five currently in the house. If you don't have any travel bugs to trade; feel free to sign the log, but the cache should only have travellers in it.

The cache is a fair size, and should be large enough to hold any travel bug(s). It's located near a very cute park dedicated to the airport, and just east of the threshold of the 'south runway' 26L (trivia: runway numbers are in degrees magnetic so 26L runs roughly 260 magnetic, and the same runway the other way would be 26 minus 18, or 08R). You can park nearby (49 11.065 123 08.930), and there's a small playground for kids, along with a concrete layout of Vancouver's runways (pretty cool eh?).

If you've got a VHF radio, you can even tune in and listen to the airplanes arriving and departing (26L/08R is used mostly for departures) on 118.70 MHz (AM). For the plane spotters in the crowd, there's also a good parking spot off Templeton (and on the way to a few other caches), and you catch the arriving traffic to 26R on 119.55MHz

We've started the cache with five travel bugs, let's see how quickly we can get them moving.
