This cache is a cookie tin and can be found high up on a ridge right in the middle of Tectonic Gorge in Ocotillo Wells SRVA.
This trail is the most beautiful trail in Ocotillo Wells SRVA. You can drive a raised 4x4, quad or motorcycle to within 500' of the cache through a soft sandy wash. There are only two entrances. PLEASE do not try to get to the cache cross country. Some of the cliff walls are 200' high and straight down. Please respect the difficulty stars on this cache and be extremely careful as you will be climbing loose sand and rocks and walking a narrow ridge. Tectonic Gorge was the location used in some of the scenes in the season finale of the X-Files in 2001.
