Geocache Description:

The location is easy to identify but hard to get to.

This cache is located on an island. In the summer time it is an easy boat ride or about 500 ft swim. In the winter time the pond freezes and it is an easy walk. REMEMBER TO TAKE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. If you are boating - wear a life preserver. If you are swimming - swim with a buddy and ensure you are a strong enough swimmer to make it there and back. If you are walking there in the winter time - ensure the ice is safe.

Update 2-12-05. The ice is getting thin!!! The days and nights are getting warmer, so only go out on the ice if you see ice fisherman out. Regardless, be very careful, the ice gets thin close to the shorelines. A Geocache is not worth a cold swim. Wait till May, the water is refreshing.

Please camouflage the cache with leaves when done.
