Bull Country II Traditional Cache
duracell: This cache is MIA. I searched for it 3 times, without luck. mblitch informs me that the bug drop he did on June 20 was without actually going to the cache, which he had found previously. It had a good run. Perhaps we can place a Bull Country III in the future.

This cache is located at one of Tampa's finer institutions of higher education - you may actually feel yourself getting smarter as you approach the area! The cache replaces the original Bull Country cache which went missing after a year of successful caching. Please make sure that you re-hide this one completely so that it is not inadvertently discovered by any non-cachers. You will be looking for a green 50 cal ammo box. The facility is located within the boundaries of Fowler Ave., Fletcher Ave., 50th St. and 30th St, and is open to the public.
PARKING: The closest parking lot to the cache is located at: N 28 03.598'/W 82 25.082'. However, if you come out here during the week during certain times of the year you may find it difficult to find a parking space in this lot, in which case you may have to find alternative parking a little further away. Also, during the week you'll need to pick up a parking pass, which can be purchased for $3.00 at a vending machine at the following coordinates: N 28 03.598'/W 82 25.082' (machine does not make change). You can also buy them at the main entrance visitor center at N 28 03.339'/W 082 24.768'. If you visit on the weekend, you won't need to buy a pass - parking is not enforced on weekends here (yes, there are signs posted that indicate that a permit is required 24/7 - don't worry about it, parking is NOT enforced here on weekends - we promise!)
From the parking coordinates, just follow your GPS. It's only about .13 mile to the cache. No bushwacking required - a good one for the kids and/or dogs. There are often ducks and turtles in the area, so bring some bread or crackers if you enjoy feeding the critters. Be careful when searching for the cache - there are some nests and occasionally eggs nearby.
While you're in the area, be sure to check out "Summer Soltice Sun Circle" and "Marble Dream" which are on the same grounds, as well as "View to the max!" which is right across the street (Fowler Ave.)
Happy Hunting!
