This cache is in Marrland Open Space, along Las Llajas Canyon road. Park at N34 17.826, W118 40.818 on Evening Sky Drive off Yosemite.
This cache is called Strong Bad's Picnic for two reasons. First, getting to this cache is a picnic compared to getting to The Ruins and Trogdor's Shovel AKA:P&H Model 206. Of course they have fantastic views while this cache is in the canyon. This whole area is fascinating since the recent fires. Spring is beginning to come to the canyon. Water is running in the stream along the canyon and the green of new growth is everywhere.
The second reason is that I was first introduced to the Strong Bad character while doing another cache in this canyon: Judge Trogdor's Gate. Our household will never be the same. Strong Bad is a unique and memorable cartoon character. You can do all of these caches in an afternoon if you solve Judge Trogdor's Gate first.
The cache is a cammoed pvc container about 4"x10". It contains a log book, pencil, pen, 3 decorative wine corks, a plastic snowman cookie cutter, some marbles and a dinosaur to protect it.
