From Hwy 101 A quick drive up the south fork Skokomish will take you to a beautiful vista of the river and mount Ranier. The cache is not far from the road.
The cache is hidden in a large jar. While driving up the Skokomish be sure to look at all the evidence of flooding! Because of irresponsable logging and road building, silt has filled up the river bed causing it to overflow its banks every year. When the river floods every Fall, you can see salmon swimming across the road! The view from the cache spot is well worth the drive. I would estimate that the cache spot is about a 10 minute drive from 101.

UPDATE: Cache container and log replaced. New hint and hiding spot, same location.
