Geocache Description:

We know you love your spouse, significant other, children, and pets. We believe you love GEOCACHING. So on this special day of sharing why don’t you come join us at the February 14th North East Ohio Geocachers Potluck Social. You do not have to be a member of NEO GEO but it would be nice to know who’s coming.

To help plan this event, please log a note on this site with the following information.
- If you are a NEOGEO member.
- If you are coming and how many in your party.
- What type of food group you are bringing (Meat, Vegetable, Fruit, Salad, etc.)?
- If you are going to play the game described below.

This will be a potluck meal which means you should each bring something to share with others (serving 8 to 10 persons). I’ll post what people are bringing at the NEO GEO site (visit link) (or here if I figure out how)to help you decide what to bring. We will have the use of the lodge all day and will plan on eating at or about 5pm.

Disposable dinnerware (plates, plasticware, cups) will be provided. If you can bring serving utensils with your covered dish it would be helpful (label your personal items).

Name tags will be available or make your own, please include your GEO handle as well as your real name.

The only draw back to this beautiful location; Log Cabin Lodge with two pool tables, fire place, stereo and TV/VCR, lake, pavilion, and playground; is they charge to rent it. We will put out the collection can and if all persons pay $5 with a max. of $10/family that will cover the cost of the lodge and dinnerware easily if we even have one quarter of our group show up.

We will be playing a new game “CUPIDS CROOKED ARROW” for those who show up and WISH to play. If you WISH to play bring a gift wrapped item with a value less than $10. This can be a new, used, homemade, or gag gift. Geocaching type items would certainly make the game enjoyable. Youth may be playing so make sure gifts are appropriate. There will be an actual cache box at the event for exchanging items and travel bugs or you can use the game as the exchange medium if you like.

The coords above are for the location of the log cabin. The following are the cords for the driveway entrance,
N 40 55.274 W 081 46.226 , do be careful making the turn the trucks move along at a good clip on this straight stretch of SR 585. There are three green and white address signs on a post 10035 is the one.
