The name says it all. This 16 mile mountain bike route travels along all of my favorite trails. Some you have seen before if you have done The Expedition Cache or Blackbeards Revenge and there are some you might not want to see. I have pulled out all the stops for this one. I made the first two (The Expedition Cache and Blackbeards Revenge) a good ride and easy caches to find. This one has some more difficult trails and well hidden caches.
This cache consists of 9 micro containers and a main cache. Always stay on the trails unless the check points lead you elsewhere. The cache's are set in 3 beautiful parks with lush vegetation and a wide variety of nature's inhabitants. At any one time, you're likely to spot delicate wildflowers and blooming shrubs, along with frogs, birds, armadillos, deer and maybe even a wild pig or bobcat. (Remember, they're more frightened of you than you are of them.) Along with Trout Creek and Flatwoods, Morris Bridge Park is part of an area known as the Wilderness Park Bicycle Trail System. All together the park's trails form a continuous 20 miles of looping single track. Each park's trails vary in type and difficulty.
How to get there Take I-75 to the Fletcher Avenue (Tampa area) exit and turn east. Fletcher Avenue becomes Morris Bridge Road. Follow that road and you will come to a bridge. The entrance to the trails can be found on the right side of the road about half a mile from the I-75 exit. Morris Bridge Bike Park is marked with a brown sign.
