A day by the river.
Sights to been seen:
The Malad River diversion empties into the Snake River
through a very large pipe and a power plant. Say goodbye
to the beautiful waters of the Malad as it mixes with
the Snake.
Near the turbine, enjoy the small but quaint park.
Bring the fishing pole, though I have never done
well here it sure looks like a good spot. Daytime hours
only, no night caching.
Farther down river near the cache placement is a rock
and concrete structure which I always believed to be the
base of an old bridge. My topo maps however give
info that the King Hill Main Canal ran through these
parts.
Take a walk, enjoy the sound of the river and the
scenery, many “relics” of the past are hidden here.
