Quality Street Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs or logged into geocaching.com for some time I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX

Geocache Description:

Start Cambus O May car park (note ; NOT Cambus o' May bridge), Restaurant nearby. Good wide grassy trails, not too steep, good views from cache area.

Updated 8 May 2010. Fairly easy 1.4 Km climbing walk to cache. At 900 metres the path forks. Take right fork to quarry entrance at NO 39709/98674,no need to enter except for interest. Bear 050 degrees climbing by the path. After 60 metres you will find a good viewing point on the right, with two large rocks among pine trees facing South over the Dee valley. Enjoy the view from an ideal picnic spot. Standing beside the two large rocks face North and walk 20 metres to a man made wall. Look for "DFA",(not my doing), and start RIGHT --> there. Cache is protected by a black plastic bag, and contains, logbook, pen and various other items.
