Mrs. Champion's Fourth Grade Class Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MeMawNM: I-10 is being widened and the 'best' dirt in the county to provide fill for this expansion is where the cache is hidden. So, this cache is going to have to go away.

I did get the cache and all of the 'goodies' will be transferred to another cache soon.

Geocache Description:

Only a teacher could turn something as fun as geocaching into a educational activity!

As a result, my class and I have placed a cache that contains seven travel bugs. We would like to see where the bugs go and track them on classroom maps. Some of the bugs are more comfortable only in New Mexico and some are free to roam wherever they may. We have also placed seven, self-addressed postcards. Feel free to write to us! We also placed a keychain, badge, foreign coins, and a deck of cards in the cache.

When you log the cache, please tell us where you attended fourth grade and where you now reside. We will be trying to locate these points on a classroom map. If you would like, you can also share a favorite memory from fourth grade. Please remember that ten year olds will be reading these logs, so try to keep those memories positive!

If you find the cache during regular school hours, please feel free to drive a little less than one mile to the west and visit us at San Miguel Elementary. The students would love to see you!
