Geocache Description:

This cache was added to aid in a stream crossing to get to other cache's “The Crossing” and Buck's Haven. Use this route that presents itself to cross over to the other side to continue your journey!

This cache was placed to aid in the crossing of a stream to get to “The Crossing” and Buck's Haven Cache.(If you choose to come in from the park side).

The view along the path adjacent to the Potomac is spectacular, especially when placed in January. The river has ice flowing, and there is also a clear view of Harrison Island and some of the buildings that are on it.

Harrison Island is the largest island on the Potomac watershed and is privately owned. If interested this is a site that tells more about it. (visit link)

Please note: If you bring small children keep a close eye on them, as the trail goes right along the Bluff that overlooks the Potomac.
