Geocache Description:

10 AM! This gives us a couple of hours for the hunt.
Come and show off your cache hiding skills! Feel free to place a cache anytime between now and the date of the event. Do not post the cache to this web site as these are just practice caches and won't be permanent unless you really want them to be. [;)] Place a cache or two and print out a page with coordinates so you can pass them out to us at the event.

A practice hiding game at Samuell Farm Park! The terrain is pretty similar to Huntsille, the site of the Texas Challenge, with pine trees and long trails.

A BYOMV (bring your own meat and / or veggie) cookout, weather permitting, after the hunt will be fun. We will talk strategy and techniques while we're scarfing down the grub.

Here's a form you can use to record the coordinates of your caches. You don't have to place a bunch of caches, just one will do. The form gives you an idea of what hiding caches at the Texas Challenge might be like.

I'll hand out rating forms at the event so your fellow cachers can rate your hide(s) on several key points.

Even if you're not attending the Texas Challenge this will be a great event. There are several caches within a few miles of the park so you can rack up some Finds *and* meet some of your fellow cachers.
