A short out and back walk on a trail that leads to the Chilling Coastal Area.
This is a relatively easy stroll along a winding path. However, after rain or during the winter, you will be best wearing walking boots or wellingtons. Recommended parking is near Locksheath Recreation Ground at N50 50.851 W001 15.490 - room for several cars. The walk from car park to cache is roughly 1km, with only the last 50m or so off the path. You don't have to climb over any fences or crawl on the ground. The surface is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs - especially in the winter, but you could easily ride a mountain bike on it. The cache is a small, green ammo box with a geocaching.com sticker on the side. *By the way, 2 finders have reported shooting nearby. I believe it is actually an automatic bird scarer, in an adjacent field - no need to dive for cover!* I suppose, if you suffer from shell shock you might want to steady yourself! Hope you enjoy this, my first cache. Radar2001 Thanks to Radar for placing and maintaining this cache, and now he's off to pastures new I've taken over this one. I've added a waypoint for an entry into the woods off the main path, there's a small trail to follow, and a bit of a stream/muddy section to traverse, but nothing major.
