bbmagic: I stopped by last night to check on the cache and someone has sealed up the 'entrance' to the cache with caulk. As such, it is no longer available and the cache is being retired. Thanks to all who visited! Look for Star and Bird Bane II to surface in Utah before the end of the year!

Geocache Description:

This cache is a well-concealed Altoid tin inside a plastic zip-top baggie. The area has lots of traffic so stealth and discretion are of the utmost importance! Fortunately, this cache is located just a few feet from where you might park your car. However, it still might be more appropriate to tackle this one at night (you'll also better appreciate the theme of the cache this way) or when not a lot of people are around.

This cache was designed to increase awareness of a serious problem that all of us must face every day of our lives. Two of my favorite hobbies, aside from geocaching, are backyard astronomy and birding.

This cache is located near the bane of both of those hobbies.

The cache is starting out with a pencil, a log sheet (I decided against a crude logbook and instead placed a folded sheet of paper with an area to leave your name, the date and a brief comment), a GeoNap wooden token and an amusement park token. I found a TB that would fit nicely in this cache, so he might be in there for the first visitor. Feel free to trade items, but please sign the log!
