The cache is probably in Oman but that may not be obvious if it was not for some signs along the way to Hatta. The area is a short drive from Dubai (~ 70km) and takes you on a scenic trip from sand dunes to mountains.
The cache is hidden in a Tupperware container containing a pencil, an eraser, log book and party balloons.
Note: The original cache was muggled. The new cache container is now a glass cylindrical jar containing some pebble stones that I brought with me from Jebel Baloum south of Riyadh. Also there is a tiny roll of log paper. I hope it will last this time.
You can hike tens of meters to the east of the cache site and explore some strange looking rock shapes.
