Geocache Description:

This is a regular cache with a view, but beware: the gosh awful long fall to the valley below and please, DO NOT VENTURE TO THE LOWER ROCKY LEDGES OF THE CLIFFTOP as copperheads have been spotted sunning on the rocks at the ledges below so beware and do NOT attempt to climb down the cliff's edge. Cache is NOT located at or near the edge.

The cache is in a Tupperware container, and it is only a short walk to find. You will need to find Window Rock Road, you will pass Window Rock itself on the left on the way to the cache location. You will know when you are close. Vistors are allowed as long as the gate is open and an event or festival is not underway and parking is plenty.(Hope you enjoy the mountain, and …happy caching.

Hope you enjoy the view and can sit a bit and wonder … what it must be like …to fly.

If you can, plan to stay a bit longer to enjoy the sun …

as it sets across the distant ridge.

This is a very popular spot for taking in the gorgeous sunsets.

AND, PLEASE BE CAREFUL YA DON’T FALL OFF THE MOUNTAIN!
