Geocache Description:

You are looking for a flat black painted ammo can.

Nice little area.

Tilson Grist Mill was near here
See: "Mountain Folklore and Genealogy Pat Alderman "

"The Tilson Grist Mill, which nestled more than a hundred years in the shadow of mile high Bald Mountain, was donated by the George Frank Tilson family to the Tennessee State Museum. It has been moved to Nashville and restored to use for public display and demonstration, an exciting centerpiece of the Pioneer Section of the Museum.

This publication, complete with numerous photographs and illustrations, tells about the mill with interesting sketches of the life and times of some of the Tilsons. This pioneer family, which traces its American ancestry back to the Mayflower, first came to Greasy Cove (Unicoi County, Tennessee) during the 1790s

GPS coverage near the cache is not good. GPS will get you to within 40ft. Should have no problem finding it though. Be careful to not leave beaten down path. Take different route out than you came in to avoid this. Lots of ground cover and ivy, Virginia Creeper, and of course, PI vines. Cache is NOT near the PI.
