maryvw: After a lot of soul searching, I have decided to archive this wonderful cache. The renewal of this area is really taking a long time. Maybe another cacher will want to place a smaller cache in another spot here on the Key.

Please do NOT place any TB's/COINS in the cache
The County will soon be starting a renewal project in this area. Since they are not sure of the exact date, I would rather not see any missing TB's/Coins. The cache will stay in place for now, and I will keep watch, and disable when necessary. Thanks

Voted Number #1 Beach in the country
This is considered one of the best beaches in the USA. You can swim, run, play volleyball, tennis, soccer, or go on trails. There is a great picnic area and playground for the kiddies. The main refreshment Pavilion often has music during the day. Sunday evenings the Drummers are on the beach.
On weekends, during the season (Jan-April) this is a very busy area. Parking may be limited in the middle of the day.
