Oxbow Traditional Cache

It was brought to my attention that there is a "No Trespassing" sign located at a chained path just off of the Chattahoochee Riverwalk Trail that goes towards the cache. This is near the parking area closest to the cache. When questioned about the sign, an Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center employee stated that it was meant in the past for vehicular traffic and that pedestrians were authorized to use the path. Great thanks to fackles for providing the help with this matter.

Oxbow Meadows is a nature discovery center located on 1,600 acres of wetland habitat at the southern end of the Columbus Riverwalk. Nestled in a bend of the Chattahoochee River, it is a place where nature can be itself. A self-guided trail walk takes you along the half-mile Trail of Measurements, which winds between a deep lake and a shallow pond. You can arrive at the cache anytime by bicycle (walking bike on trail) but if you come by car be warned that the gates are locked at 5:30 p.m.
